Rapid Response Monitoring, a national leader in electronic security monitoring, is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to add to our fast growing Business Development Team. We have an immediate opening in the greater Worcester area for an Outside Sales Account Manager to manage territory in New England. We offer three months fully paid training as well as continued skill enhancement training. Our employees enjoy a creative, collaborative working environment.

We monitor security, fire, medical, personal emergency, supervisory, environmental and other systems in homes and businesses nationwide and internationally. We are headquartered in Syracuse NY (Rapid Response East) and have another monitoring center in Corona CA (Rapid Response West). We have built our success on the success of our dealers. Rapid’s state-of-the-art facilities are custom designed and maintained to exceed all industry monitoring standards. Rapid Response’s work areas and on-site training center have been cited as the best in the business, and have received the Central New York Society for Human Resource Management Employer of Distinction Award for Best Work Environment.

Rapid was also recently nominated by the Syracuse CenterState CEO as an Economic Champion for our expansion and development of new local jobs. The Company is currently expanding with the Syracuse facility being increased in size from 40,000 to 75,000 square feet and an emphasis on employee facilities and added workstations and office space. The Corona facility is an all new full-load monitoring center mirroring the capabilities and workplace features of Rapid Response East.


About the Position
o Make Sales calls to prospects within multistate territory to develop new business and to current clients to ensure high quality customer service
o Travel to client sites, prospective client sites, events and tradeshows. Travel up to 75%.
o Develop new business in assigned region while communicating effectively with our current client base and responding to their needs accordingly.
o Ensure our current clients as well as qualified leads have a full understanding of company services available to them.
o Stay informed of market conditions; product innovations; and competitors' products prices and services.
o Collaborate with other Sales and Marketing personnel to establish and maintain efficient office procedures, practices and routines.
o Perform administrative duties, such as researching client business needs; preparing sales budgets and quotes; generating and analyzing reports; and recording client interactions

About You
We prefer an Account Manager who possesses a minimum education of a four-year degree and one to two years of on-the-job experience in a related field. Organization, strong written and verbal communication skills, a high level of detail, and the ability to develop lasting professional relationships are essential. The successful candidate must be an ambitious, career-minded team player with a full understanding of confidentiality agreements and proprietary information.
