Job description:
To work with Operations Manager and Sales Account Managers in a technical capacity as needed and advising of job status and critical customer satisfaction information.
To work with the Engineering Department throughout a job to insure proper design, accurate submittals, as built drawings, and proper documentation.
To submit design drawings to customers and authorities having jurisdiction and to obtain the required approvals.
To insure that all systems meet applicable Federal, State, and local codes, manufacturers requirements, and Systems standard practices and procedures.
To insure that all systems meet the customers specifications and will meet their requirements.
To coordinate subcontractor activities and supervise those subcontractors in the proper installation of a system.
To install a system or any part of, if necessary, to meet schedule. To manage schedules and request additional labor if necessary to insure the jobs meet the contract schedules.
To monitor job costs, and with the Operations Manager or Sales Account Manager, take steps necessary to insure control and job profitability.
To conduct system checkouts, system testing, customer training, and other related functions to job completion.
To ensure that complete and correct documentation of a system is completed including, but not limited to, check out reports, test reports, job closing reports, customer training reports, and as-built drawings. Responsible for attending and participating in weekly meetings and training sessions as required. Responsible for insuring that the assigned vehicle is properly maintained including regular scheduled maintenance, cleaning, inventory organization and control.
Responsible for proper care and use of test equipment and tools that are assigned by the company including recharge equipment, scanners, test meters etc.
Responsible for communicating to Operations Manager and/or Sales Account Manager prospective customers and/or leads which could result in increased business and revenue.
Responsible for conforming to the company's quality system. Supervise subcontractors, and may be required to supervise other Personnel in the coordination of field activities.

Education, training, experience:
Required Skills
Ability to supervise subcontractors and other associates. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms internally and with the customer.
Basic organization and time management skills. Experience with Electrical/Electronic systems. Experience in mechanical/piping networks.
Ability to read blue prints and markup changes required as a result of installation activities. Basic Personal computer skills.
Previous experience, training or proficiency must be demonstrated in some or all of the following types of fire protection systems prior to coordinating a job with those type systems: Conventional Fire Detection Systems, Specialized Fire Detection (Air Sampling), Explosion Protection Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, Room Integrity Testing, Leak Detection Systems, Recharge and reconditioning agent storage containers.
