Description
The System Sales Representative will facilitate the growth of Edwards Service, a Division of Carter Brothers, LLC, by selling primarily new construction and add on systems, pre-engineered bid specified projects that meet or exceed the sales forecast within the assigned territory. System types may include but are not limited to, fire alarm, nurse call, access control, CCTV, and any other low voltage offering.
The System Sales Representative typically calls on electrical contractors as their focus, but may call on building owners, property managers, facility engineers, architects, etc.
Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent. College Degree with emphasis in electronics and/or sales preferred.
• 1-5 years proven and verifiable experience as a Sales Representative with emphasis on direct client contact as well as systems layout and engineering.
• Fire alarm and electronic security experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be self-motivated and looking to work in a positive environment with an industry leader.
Physical & Other Requirements
• Maintain a valid driver's license
• Ability to sit for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to walk for up to 6 hours per day
• Ability to type and read a computer screen
• Ability to read blueprints
