Job Summary:

The Electronic Security Sales Consultant opportunity resides within Stanley Convergent Security Solutions Correctional Division, where we design, install, service, and monitor electronic security systems that integrate video surveillance, access control, intercom systems, and monitoring applications for correctional facilities. Within this position you will have the chance to make the world a more secure place by marketing the most innovative electronic security products on the market to correctional facilities throughout the Western US.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Focus upon generating relationships in the correctional market within in the Western US States.
2. Follow projects from the initial sales phase to a signed contract.
3. During the contact, the Sales Representative will conduct an audit related to the security needs of the customer which includes technically assessing the condition of the existing equipment and systems.
4. Work with client to design a security system that fits correctional facility needs.
4. Generate price quotations.
5. Bid projects.
6. Organize and maintain accurate and accessible database of visits, quotes, hit rates, etc.
7. Generate progress reports.

*Position works remotely and travels to correctional facilities throughout the Western US States.

Job Requirements


Education, training, experience:
Spacer Image
Education and Experience:

-7+ years of commercial electronic security system sales experience
-Consistency in exceeding high volume sales plan of $3 million+ per client
-Knowledge of correctional facility (prisons, jails, detention centers, etc.) security systems preferred
-Electronic security system design and application, pricing, and lead generation experience required
-System Integration experience including integration of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, and Fire security systems
-A “Hunter” sales mentality
-Excellent customer relationship building skills required
-Proficient user of Microsoft Office programs
-Ability to multi-task
-Highly detailed oriented
-College Degree preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required
