Multi-Tech Reps is a manufacturer’s rep firm specializing in the sale of hardware and software products to the rapidly growing electronic security, surveillance, access control, and datacom markets. Many of the products we offer require connection to computer networks, the Internet, and NAS or SAN systems. We are in need of a sales professional with a high level of technical understanding and ability. Candidates with IT experience or security sales experience will be given special consideration. Prior experience with our specific product lines is not a requirement.

Job Description:

1. Visit the following types of clients on a regular basis:

Dealers/Integrators

Distributors

End Users

Architects, Engineers, Consultants

2. Demonstrate products.

3. Assist clients with projects by providing application assistance and quotes.

4. Promote new products to clients.

5. Promote products at trade show events.

6. Attend national conferences such as ASIS, ISC, and BICSI.

7. Visit clients with our manufacturers.

8. Record important client interaction and sales opportunities in CRM software.

9. Follow up on sales leads.

10. Maintain sales and pending project data for reports to our manufacturers.

11. Provide product training to our customer base.

12. Attend regular training classes to stay knowledgeable on our products.

13. Frequent travel to cities within a 100 to 200 mile radius of St Louis is required.
